Dorset Road

The modal filter is at the junction between Dorset Road and Clapham Road. The design proposes more seating for people to meet and the potential to introduce play features for young people. 

The main features of the design are:

• Resurfacing of the existing carriageway in paving slabs
• Upstand kerbs to guide visually impaired users
• Trees, benches, cycle parking, play equipment, SuDs
• Outdoor seating
• Existing footways retained and decluttered
• We will retain existing disabled parking space
